What does an evaluation at BrainWorks look like?
First, we discuss the reasons for consultation with the parents. Next, we take a detailed health and development history, Here we go over the pregnancy and birth, developmental milestones, social milestones, language, growth patterns, sleep, behavior, nutrition and eating habits and much more.
Next, we perform a comprehensive exam to assess the child for signs of imbalance or immaturity of their nervous system. This gives us a baseline assessment of your child’s developmental functioning.
