Unfortunately, we do not accept insurance at this time. If finances are an issue, please speak with me so we can set up a payment plan together that works for your family. I never want finances to be the reason a child doesn’t receive the care they need.
HOW OFTEN ARE BRAINWORKS NEURO CAMPS HELD?
We have camp weeks happening every 2 months. You are advised to reserve your child’s place ahead of time as there are only enough spots for 5 kids and they go fast. All paperwork as well as reports from other professionals must be sent in 2 weeks prior to each camp week so we have ample time to study each case.
WILL WE BE GIVEN ACTIVITIES TO DO AT HOME?
Yes, this is a very important part of care. On the Friday of the neuro camp week, we will perform a re-evaluation to see what gains have been made for the week and what activities need to be continued at home until our next evaluation, usually 2-3 months later.
HOW LONG DOES EACH REHAB SESSION LAST?
Each rehab session lasts 25-30 minutes. Each child will have between 1-4 sessions per day for their neuro camp week. If at any time your child is too fatigued or unable to complete their session, we will shorten that session and/or offer a period of rest. Respecting the limitations of fatigue and metabolic capacity is important in this type of care.
